Ben Jones played lead guitar on the very first Groovy Uncle release, the 2010 single ‘Monkey Trousers’/’Now Your Pain Is Over‘. He features heavily on the ‘Play Something We Know!‘ album (2011) and the Suzi Chunk debut LP, ‘Girl From The Neck Down‘ (2012). Two other tracks featuring Ben on guitar and keyboard- ‘You Look Good To Me’ and ‘Wet Weekend’-were recorded during the ‘PSWK’ sessions and released as part of the ” album in 2014.
Ben is a multi- talented musician and songwriter who I first encountered as frontman of the Medway band, The Lovedays. He now lives and works in the USA and his current band, Beat Root Revival have toured with Brian Wilson.
