We are Groovy Uncle, our website address is https://groovy-uncle.co.uk. We are based in the sunny garden of England from where we provide musical entertainment in vinyl and compact disc format for sale on our sister website trouserphonicrecords.co.uk
Groovy Uncle musical entertainment products are also available for download/streaming via third party providers such as iTunes and Spotify and Youtube.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Registered Users
The Groovy Uncle website does not have registered users (other than the website administrators,) and we do not require any username or login details.
We do however encourage our visitors to subscribe to our email newsletter to be kept up to date with regular news and updates regarding the Groovy Uncle project.
Our email subscriber list is handled offsite by third party provider EmailOctopus, you can read their privacy policy here and their GDPR statement here.

Commenting and reviews are switched off for this website
Media
It is not possible for visitors to upload any media to the website. All website content and editing is handled by the website administrators.
Contact forms
We do not currently use contact forms on this website and encourage all contact direct via our published email address or telephone or via third party services such as our online social media pages at Facebook and Twitter

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
